The new Maker Ed Google+ Community

What do you make? Our recent weekend at Maker Faire Bay Area 2014, along with the busy days and events leading up to it, was glorious, and we return from an eventful week sunburned but inspired. Many thanks to all of the wonderful educators, volunteers, and visitors who shared their time, stories, and energy with us — whether it was at the Making Possibilities Workshop at Intel, the Ed Cafe, or the Young Makers area. We are invigorated for our summer work!

We would also like to announce the kick-off of our new Maker Ed Google+ Community. Maker educators are part of a grand and growing community of practice, full of expertise, innovations, and ideas. As one of our Making Possibilities Workshop participants put it, we don’t need to reinvent the wheel each and every time, in each and every classroom in big cities and small towns across the nation. So join us in the new community and share, engage, explore, and collaborate. We hope to see you there!
