Today Maker Ed is participating in the 3rd annual #GivingTuesday, a global day dedicated to giving back. This year more than 18,000 charities are involved to encourage a day of generosity around the globe.
In 2014, Maker Ed reached 1000s of young people across the country through our Maker Corps, Maker AmeriCorps VISTA, and Young Makers programs. We also developed and launched our free online educator Community and Resource Library to support anyone interested in bringing making to the youth they serve. With your help, we can do even more!
Thanks to the generosity of Maker Ed’s board, any gift made on #GivingTuesday will be matched up to a total of $8,500, so your contribution will go even further.
