Documenting for Assessment in Maker Education Workshop

How can documentation support assessment? In the first part of this two-day workshop, we will explore different ways to make learning visible. While engaging in hands-on activities, we will practice capturing our work, our process, and our thinking. We will then use the documentation of our practice to broaden our notion of what is assessable. Using this experience, we will design an assessment or strategy tailored to your environment.

Maker Ed workshops are built on a learning cycle where you experience making as a learner, reflect on the activity, and then work with other participants and Maker Ed coaches to apply your learning as an educator.
