How can one maker-centered activity build onto another to support a progressive unit or arc of learning over time? In this two-day workshop, we will wield the needle and thread necessary to weave maker-centered learning into a unit. We will alternate experience with hands-on activities with a cycle of reflection and application. Finally, we will create our own unit plans or learning sequences tailored to your setting.
Maker Ed workshops are built on a learning cycle where you experience making as a learner, reflect on the activity, and then work with other participants and Maker Ed coaches to apply your learning as an educator.
