About this event
Join us this month in reading Cultivating Genius by Gholdy Muhammad! We’ll discuss how this equity framework centers the pursuits of identity, intellect, skills, criticality, and the inherent brilliance in all youth. Connect with other educators to reimagine your own lessons and teaching practices to be more hands on and learner centered using this framework!
Discussion questions will be provided throughout the month of June via email and on our social media as we read through the book, so feel free to join in on the conversation in the weeks leading up to this book club meeting!
This is a participatory space for educators to connect, learn, and grow with each other.
This meetup is free and open to ALL educators who work with young people in any capacity.
Note: Throughout the month of June, we’ll also be hosting events and workshops that connect to the book and framework. Check back on our event brite page http://maker-ed.eventbrite.com to learn more!
