Equity begins with access. Considering background knowledge, interest, and culture is only part of a Culturally Responsive Approach.
During this edWebinar, Kevin Bairdedhttps://home.edweb.net/webinar/differentiate20200414/ will draw directly from high-stakes assessment questions to discuss methods for engaging students from across cultural and socio-economic backgrounds while accelerating assessment outcomes. We will journey from the idea of “Culturally Responsive” as a “good idea and nice to have” to consider how engaging in research-based approaches drive deeper thinking and accelerated learning.
This edWebinar will be of interest to kindergarten through high school teachers, librarians, and school and district leaders. There will be time to have your questions answered at the end of the presentation.
