Educating for Good is pleased to announce its premiere virtual conference, August 10-12, 2020. The conference looks at foundational issues around assessment, equity, justice and ethics — particularly those raised by the lock down. Our circle conversations will have implications for assessment in the long term, and also, more importantly, for the school year that is coming right at us. In support of “at any distance” learning, we will model virtual facilitation of learning circles, provide thought partnership around assessment system development, and processes for the development competency based assessments. We will highlight thought leaders and practitioners in the work, and lift up resources and colleagues who are educating for good. Most importantly, we will provide a space for participants to learn from each other, share their concerns and questions, and untangle the most pressing dilemma of the pandemic: how to do the right thing for our kids.
Registrants can attend all circles, one circle, or one strand of circles. Circles are interactive and will include break out spaces. There is no fee for registration.
