Available at https://www.imls.gov/sites/default/files/legacy/assets/1/AssetManager/LearningLabsReport.pdf

Summary

Funded by the Institute of Museum and Library Services (IMLS) and the MacArthur Foundation, starting in 2011, 24 Learning Labs were created, designed, and launched as teen spaces in museums and libraries across the United States. This report shares documentation, learnings, and impact from this nationwide endeavor, including snapshots of the labs, the models and practices that evolved from the development and implementation of the labs, lessons learned about how to best support teens, and insight into the ecosystems of learning created, whether for teens or the educators who support them.
