COSI (Center Of Science and Industry) is Columbus’ dynamic hands-on science center. Our mission is to inspire interest in science and encourage people to want to learn more about their world. We’ve been in the Columbus community for nearly 50 years and continue to evolve as a world class science center. Recently, COSI hosted Columbus’ first Mini Maker Faire. We’ve been hosting TEDxColumbus for two years, will again host this year, and we continue to be a place for dialogue in the Columbus community. COSI was named the #1 science center in the country for families by Parents Magazine and features more than 320,000 square feet of hands-on science, including ten-themed exhibit areas focusing on various topics such as the ocean, space, early childhood education, gadgets, and much more. We are proud to host the largest digital screen in Ohio, an outdoor science park, and the country’s only high-wire unicycle. We also offer live shows, a variety of special events, family programs, camps, and more.
