Making Spaces Toolkit

The Children’s Museum of Pittsburgh, in partnership with Maker Ed, designed a suite of resources and tools that Regional Hubs and their partner schools can use to support the integration of making into schools and educational spaces across the country. The resources in this “toolkit” are designed to assist you in planning for, campaigning for and implementing maker education in schools.

The Making Spaces Toolkit is composed of three types of tools:

  1. Screen Shot 2017-03-03 at 11.47.20 AMVisioning & Goal Alignment Tools: These tools can be used to guide conversations between Hubs and partner schools before the campaign development process begins in order to create common understanding about the intentions, expectations, and funding goals for integrating making into the school environment
  2. Campaign Development Tools: These tools can be used to guide the crowdfunding campaign development process for schools
  3. Program Planning & Promotional Tools: These tools can be used for reference and to help structure expectation and communications about the project and partnership (available soon)
