Soaring to great heights: The Viper

December 4, 2012 by Maker Ed Staff

The most ambitious Young Makers project to date was “The Viper”, a Battlestar Galactica-themed flight simulator capable of 360 rotation around two axes. The project team consisted of Young Makers Sam D., Joseph, Alex, John, and Sam F. The project has been featured in The Huffington Post, Popular Mechanics Magazine, Make Magazine, and the Discovery Channel Canada. You can find out more about the project by visiting the-viper.org.
